A fundraiser for Fences For Fido and local dog parks, this event coordinates with the annual Sandy/Boring Cyclocross event. This is a dog-friendly event with a special area of the corn maze set aside strictly for dogs and their humans to stroll and explore. Calling all Portland Pooches! Bring your Human to the Portland Dog Boneanza on Sat. Sept. 14th!!! YogaBug Real Estate Team is scheming up a dog-gone good time for the 2nd year in a row and all proceeds go to Family Dogs New Life Shelter.

The free all-day family-friendly fundraiser for Family Dogs New Life Shelter will start with a Doga class (dog yoga with your human!) @cariocabowls yoga outdoor platform. The Party then ensues at The Filling Station on NE Alberta until 1pm. with the Ultimate Raffle, a Dog-Owner Look Alike Contest, the Bow Wow Bake Sale, and fun games for the pups. YogaBug will provide a free pet photographer Fuzzybutt Pet Photos for the community from 11-1.

“Star Paws” Dinner and Auction

Furry Friends is hosting its annual dinner and auction fundraiser at the The Heathman Lodge in Vancouver.  They will be celebrating their 20th year of operation.

While purely optional, attendees are encouraged to appear in costumes that reflect a Star Wars theme. The Cloud City Garrison will be attending in costume to help set the mood and be available for photo opportunities. This group is a chapter of The 501st Legion of Stormtroopers, a Star Wars Imperial costuming club. The 501st is dedicated to the movie-quality costumes of the "villains" of the Star Wars universe.

 Founded in 1999, Furry Friends is a nonprofit, no-kill 501(c)(3) animal rescue serving Clark County. Run entirely by volunteers, their mission is to save abused, abandoned and relinquished cats by providing them with medical care and socialization, spay/neutering and shelter until they are placed in appropriate adoptive homes.

Head down to PetSmart in Gresham on the third Saturday of each month from 11 am to 3 pm to visit with adoptable pets from Multnomah County Animal Services.

WHAT: Multnomah County Animal Services volunteers will bring adoptable dogs to Petsmart Gresham to visit with patrons at the store. Visitors can see, pet, and adopt animals on-site.

WHY: To find homes for adoptable animals, and to reach people who may not visit the shelter in Troutdale.
